About “The Club”
The Hudson Portuguese Club is a group of about 400 individuals who are brought together because of our common goal to bring culture, camaraderie, brotherhood and sportsmanship to our community.
- We range in age from newborn to elderly.
- We were born in Portugal, America, Canada, Europe, Africa, South America and many other places.
- We are laborers, accountants, lawyers, engineers, realtors and everything in between.
- We are made up of traditional families, modern families, widows & widowers, bachelors and bachelorettes.
- We speak Portuguese and Spanish and French and many other languages. Some of us do not speak English. Some of us speak only English.
- Some of us are at the club every night and others only a few times a year for special events.
- Many of us are happy to volunteer occasionally at club events. Some of us cannot.
- Some of us join the club to support the Culture, others for discounts in the restaurant or sports activities, others to support the children’s group yet others to support our religious feasts.
The “Club” is all of us. We are the club and we welcome all new members.
