Celebrate the New Year in Style!
The Hudson Portuguese Club will be continuing the decades long tradition of welcoming in the new year with by hosting a formal New Years Eve celebration. There’s no need to go anywhere else on New Years Eve to get great food, live music, party favors, and a champagne toast followed by a midnight buffet. After all of the hard work spent hosting Christmas, New Years Eve is a great opportunity to go out have a great time with your families and friends. Take a break and let us be your host for this festive evening. Bring your grandparents, parents, kids and friends – everyone is welcome and is sure to enjoy the evening.
We are excited to once again have the group Passion performing live. Passion’s members include Fernando Vitorino, Nelson Medeiros, Andreia Medeiros, Tony Chaves and Nick Vitorino. If you missed it, at last year’s celebration their performance was stellar! Their great musical talent and ability to play a mix of both Portuguese and American dance favorites make them perfect entertainment for this event.
The evening will include a soup followed by Carne de Porco à Alentejana and Seafood Paella dinner topped off by a sweet desert and coffee. Midnight party favors and a champagne toast will be provided. After the clock strikes 12 a traditional midnight New Years Eve tasting consisting of Calde Verde and more.
Tickets must be purchased by Dec 26th and are $55 for Adults and $25 for Children 12 and under. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Dia Dos Reis
December 29th
“Dia Dos Reis” also known as “Epiphany” is a celebration of the three wise men. In many countries around the world this is the day that celebrates the arrival of a new king and on which presents are exchanged. Please join us for an evening of traditional performances that celebrate the “Dia Dos Reis”. The first performance will be “The Reis”. HPC’s own Nossa Senhora de Candeias will be performing second. The Candeias group is a musical group that performs in the Tuna style of the Iberian peninsula. Lastly the evening will be concluded with Cantigas a Desafio which is a form of improvisational singing performed to the music of concertinas or accordions. HPC is proud of the musical talents of these performers and very thankful that they are keeping the traditions alive.
Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.
There will be a concession stand with light refreshments.
